Parking at LIRR - Babylon?
Anyone know how much the daily metered parking is? DH and I are putting a bid on a house in W. Islip and was wondering how much the LIRR parking would cost.

I think its .25 for 3 hours...that is in the lot that is across the street from the Hybernia club. The parking in the lot....around the station is for Village of Babylon residents only.

Yep, on one side it's .25 for 2 hours for non village residents. On the other side, it's free for villiage residents only. There is TONS of parking around the station that is $3 a day... that's what I do, and it's right across the street, very convenient.

There are also several parking lots the village runs that are 25cents per two hours. They are scattered around the village (I know of four of them). You can pretty much always find parking, but sometimes you have to walk a bit.
