Parking - residential street
i live on a very quiet residential street. Everyone has a single or double driveway. Lately when i get home there's been a car parked directly in front of my house - meanwhile there is plenty of room on the street. We have a single driveway, i park in the driveway DH parks on the street (usually where this car is parked) and it is SUPER annoying coming home and seeing that car!! would this annoy you? i know there's not assigned spaces, but isn't it an unspoken etiquette??

Re: Parking - residential street
you are going to have a lot of people here tell you that you don't own the street - which, essentially, is true.
However, I don't care. It still would p!ss me off to absolutely no end.

Re: Parking - residential street
It pisses me off beyond belief. I know I don't own the street and if there is some sort of house party going on at my neighbors, then yes, I expect that they will park in front of my house and it's fair game. However, my neighbor sometimes doesn't park in his driveway and will instead park in front of our house when he has 2 spots in front of his own house. That pisses me off.
The other thing that annoys me to no end is on the other side of us, the house has a new tenant who if someone is in "her" spot, she will DOUBLE PARK even though there is room in front of that car to park.
