parents whose 2+yo are good eaters , please come in
Seems like my DD eating a LOT and she is always asking for food, ALWAYS. She has always been a good eater, ever since she was born, but this past week it seems like she is always hungry. I have tried giving her bigger meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner and I give her snacks as usual , but as soon as she is done with her meal or a snack she is asking for more. I don't know if she is going through a growth spurt or what is going on. I am NOT worried about her gaining weight or anything like that or at least not yet, and she doesn't look like she eats a lot, she is a VERY active kid , I just don't understand how she can eat like this She will eat/snack all day if I let her
Anyone else have a kid who is like this? Should I bring this up with a ped ?

my kid is kind of the opposite, but when he wants snacks, i give him a snack plate of healthy foods (homemade dried apple chips, carrot sticks, diced up pears, etc)
i see no harm in feeding her snacks as long as they are healthy

My ds is like this sometimes too. On Saturday he had cereal for breakfast and then at 9:30 he ate--a gerber graduates chicken and stars stew, a yogurt, and a brownie. At that point I told him no more. He ate a regular lunch and a double dinner.
