Parents' Florida rental with possible mold problem
My parents rented a condo in Florida a few months ago for one year with my brother to help him get on his feet and so they can have a place to go this winter. They were each helping each other. Nobody was there for two months, as they were all up in NY. They came back last week to find mold all over, on the counch, floors, everywhere. They spent the day cloroxing the whole place, didn't sleep and now they are in a hotel. The man who owns the condo is out of state, but is going to have it tested for mold. What rights do they have in this situation? Does anyone know?
Wanted to add...they had the AC set on and fans while they were gone in NY
