parents & hubby help
my parents have their hearts on buying us the crib for the baby. My husband has decided that he wants to buy the whole set so it can coordinate. what would you do? let your parents buy it or hubby? i just don't want my parents feelings to get hurt if my husband won't give on this issue.

My parents had thier hearts set on this too so we picked out a set in the furniture and then showed them..they loved it too and gave us the money on the spot...perhaps thats an option for you guys? That way everyone is happy?

I had the same issue - since I knew that my parents and his parents were paying for my baby shower, and I knew my DH really wanted to buuy the furniture, I insisted that we were paying for the furniture.

For both rooms we picked out what we wanted and ILs paid for the crib, my mom paid for the glider and ottoman and then we paid for the dresser.
