Parental Permission and Meidcal Consent
Hi,
DH and I are going away and I want to write a letter giving my dad and in-laws who will be sharing the babysitting, permission to make medical decisions, if need be. Does anyone have a sample letter? TIA!

Parental Permission and Meidcal Consent
I just wrote a basic letter saying that they have the right to make all medical decisions. I had the letter notarized and left them copies of insurance cards.

This is what we did when I chaperoned overnight school field trips. The staff at the er was always so thankful that we had both since it made their lives much easier.

We just did this since dh and I were traveling outside the country, We had our attorney write a letter stating we gave my parents and brother the right to make any medical decisions for our daughters from now until they are 18 if we are not able to. We also had the letter notatriized.
