Pants for Tall Skinny Toddler Boy
Anyone have recommendation for pants that work for tall skinny toddler boys who are potty training (i.e., he need to be able to pull them up and down easily)?
My DS is 90th percentile for height, but only 50th percentile for weight, and I find it hard to find pants that work for him. Last year, I bought a bunch of Osh Kosh pants in 3T that have draw strings to help keep them up. His pants were baggy for a while, but the drawing string helped. Now those 3T pants fit him fine in the waist, but are getting too short. I ordered the same pants in 4T, but the waist is way too big, especially without a diaper underneath. They have a draw string, but he can't tie/untie it when he needs to go to the bathroom. For now he's wearing the 3T, but soon they'll just be too short.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

My son was like this and still is! I found at that age Old Navy was the slimmest for him. Once he gets a little older he can wear Children's place...and make slim pants... LIFE CHANGING!

Pants for Tall Skinny Toddler Boy
My son isn't tall, but super skinny. As a toddler, I bought him pants with the elastic on the inside that can be adjusted with the button. I believe Carters and Old Navy have them. Now that he is in regular boy sizes, they make slim fit. I also buy him skinny jeans/pants style when stores don't carry slim fit and that seems to help keep his pants up.

My son wears Children's Place slim with an elastic band so he can easily get them on and off for the potty.

I used to get him Old Navy pants, but last year they were too big, which is when I switched to the Osh Kosh. It looks like Old Navy has more Slim Fit now, so maybe I'll try them and Children's Place to see what fits best.
We have pants that can be adjusted on the inside, which are great, but most of those have buttons, so they don't work with potty training. At daycare he has to be able to take his pants on and off himself.
Thanks for the suggestions!
