Pampers Swaddlers Diapers v Generic Brand

We are currently using the Swaddlers for DS. We are about to finish up the second to last box of Swaddlers we were given at the shower. So I've been price comparing the Swaddlers at Target, BJs, Walmart, and BRU.

I've read on the board that some mommies use the Target Up & Up or the BJs diapers. For those that originally used the Swaddlers diapers and switched to a generic brand, what do you use and is there a big difference between the two?

we didnt switch to generic, just to luvs.. which are 1/2 the price as well...

i was a total swaddlers through size 2, in my honest opinion for littttle, sensitive babies theyre the best


when the size 2 got a little snug (about 3.5 months) i tried pampers babydry. thats when i realized theyre basically exactly the same as Luvs, which as so much cheaper than pampers. luvs and pampers are also made by the same company.

I HATED target up&ups, i felt like they got hard when she peed, and she would cry after she wet them. i dont know if she was uncomfortable or what, but after using about 5 i chucked them.

id say try Luvs, just as good as babydry

i got a box at BJs yesterday, size 3, 204 diapers. it was originally 29.99, and i got them for 22.99 with coupons. a large box of pampers size 3 was 42.99. $20 difference for the same thing!

Definitely go to Luvs or Baby Dry - they work best for us. I am not a fan of Huggies.

We used swaddlers through size 2-3, we had tried huggies and 7th generation and neither worked for DS. Once he was out of swaddlers we first tried baby dry and they didn't work at all for him, next was cruisers they were great. At about 11 months I tried luvs and they work fine, although I need different night time diapers for him, whereas with the cruisers they work day and night.

Pampers were our first choice of diapers but recently I tried the Target up and up from all the recommendations from the ladies on LIF and they are the BEST ~ better than pampers!!! LOVE them!!!
