Painting a bedroom...how much?
Any idea how much it would cost to prime/paint 1 bedroom? It's a pretty average size room, no wall damage or anything. Just a ballpark how much it would cost? Thanks.

You want to hire someone to paint or do it yourself?
If you do it yourself then it's about $20 for the primer and about $32 for the paint. Then you have to factor in the brushes, rollers, paint tray and tape. So all in all I would say around $75.

It cost us $700 but all of the moldings and 2 sets of big closets doors were a wood color and we had them painted white. Without that, it probably would have been around $4-500.

I think the general rule is about $500 per room, for an average size room-- give or take depending on who you use and any obstructions in the room, etc.
