We bought a paint stripper from Home Depot. It was so annoying. We stripped the steps going out our side door entrance. We still have yet to finish the project becuase it is just so annoying.

good luck!!! wyou need to buy the paint stripper scrape off as much as you can and then sand. we did the molding in one room and have abouty 7 doors to go. its very time consuming and make sure you have a ton of ventilation, the fumes will make you nauseous
