Paint question
How can I nicely flow two paint colors on one wall.....meaning we knocked down a wall so the living room and dining room will kind of be one long room. We will have carpet in the LR and hardwood in the DR but how can I separate the paint colors
If anyone has any pics they would be greatly appreciated

Re: Paint question
I've seen this done using a half pillar. You need something to break up the wall, it won't look right if you just stop the paint and start the new color.

Re: Paint question
Just curious, why not use a single color? It would make both rooms look larger and you already have a functional divide because of the different flooring.

Re: Paint question
You could put up some moulding on the wall as a divider.

This is my problem too. My gf's suggested I do the long wall and entire kitchen in one color and the other walls of the living room a contrast color. I am scared to do it though-lol!!
