Paint on Wood Cabinets ?
Has anyone ever stripped the paint from kitchen cabinets ?
In many of the houses I'm seeing, the cabinets are old (which is expected) but the new homeowners have pianed them - and I don't mean a coat of white paint ........some are blue, yellow - Just NOT my style
Do you think it's possible for me to get that paint off and restain the wood just to deal w/ the kitchenfor a while before we have the money for a real renovation ?

its totally duable. If you strip the wood, then sand and stain you should be fine.
