Paint color rec, please! :-)
we're FINALLY getting rid of the ugle 70's paneling in our living room and doing drywall BUT now this means that I have to pick out paint colors the room is set up a little weird... I want to use a neutral color, that i'll be happy with for awhile. BUT its a big room and i want SOME color. SOO i'm looking for a nice beige/taupe neutral to go on 3 of the walls.... and a nice deep red to do as an "accent" wall behind the TV. Any colors i should look at? just to get me in the right direction! here's a pic of the room, to give you an idea... part of the wall is almost a "hallway" that goes to the bedrooms and bathroom. ETA: I usually have pictures and lamps and stuff up... took them down already to prep for this project! LOL

Re: Paint color rec, please! :-)
We just finished painting our dining room red and cream. We used Benjamin Moore Raspberry Truffle on top of the chair rail and Behr Arabian Sand on the bottom. Excuse the mess, we were under construction :)
In the living room, the bottom color is Arabian Sand and the top is Behr Toasted Wheat.
Here are some pics:

we've used BM alpacca and BM adobe beige and loved them! a nice warm, creamy beige color. it doesnt stand out too much, but it def adds a nice element. would probably look really nice against the wood rafters good luck!
