Painful Nips *UPDATE - I'm leaking at nearly 18w!! What?!*
My nips have been very tender since my BFP but at nearly 18w they are KILLING ME!!!   I can barely keep my bra on bc they are just so sore/tender... and God forbid DH comes near them. 
Anyone else experiencing the same thing? Does this come and go or is it going to be this painful for the rest of my pregnancy bc they are preparing for milk? Is there anything I can do relieve the pain?
*UPDATE*
How is this even possible?! I just examined myself bc this pain has been so ridiculous... There is fluid coming out of my nips!! Sorry if this is TMI. I will only be 18w on Thursday! How is this happening already???

I felt like that for a long time, VERY sensitive, I started to use lansinoh cream, allllll better. And now I'm a little ahead of the game for BF.

Not at all actually - I moisturize 1-2x a day.
It's like an internal soreness.. really hard to even describe.

Yea, my problem was dryness. So that wouldn't help. Maybe ur starting to get ur milk in?

yeah dont freak, it happened to me too
it stinks but its totally normal, i had an emotional breakdown when it happened but it has only happened like 3 or 4x since then

my dr. told me at my first appt. around 5 weeks that it can start at anytime. I was shocked that she was telling me about it already. she said most people think it happens much later, but it can happen at anytime.

YES it is!!! I mean, I am so happy to know that I won't have a problem BF (hopefully), but I was not prepared for this so soon!!

i just found the old post, i basically cried and spent about 4 hours on the bathroom floor in tears before my mom found me and wanted to call 911. . . .
someone made a great comparison. its like getting your period, you know what it is, you know its normal but its still very very emotional!
and i want to BF too! i should have been thrilled!

i had the same thing happen to me. around 20 weeks i got a weird shooting pain feeling then by 25 weeks they were leaking clear fluid. now they leak yellow sticky stuff. as gross as it seems just remember its a good thing.

My nipple just leaked as well. It was so embarrassing cause it happened at work and went through my bra and shirt. My nipples are still sore and fluid is still coming from them, but not going through anything.

it's good to embrace all the parts of pregnancy, no matter how gross and wierd they can be sometimes. My sister leaked at 18 weeks also, stayed clear for awhile, then turned yellow couple of weeks before birth. Like everyone said...maybe it's a sign that ull have no problem BF if that's what ur going to do, so yayy!

Um I had the doctor tell me I was leaking at my 8 week appointment  (yes 8 weeks! We were both shocked) so now at 18 weeks its nothing new to me. Luckily its not very often
and my freaking nipples are killing me and are huge.

I bought the pads but I dont wear them b/c its so rare that it happens and it usually happens at night HOWEVER I also wear body bras and they are pretty thick so I think I am safe for now
