PAINFUL joints

anyone else? my knees have been bad since about 12 weeks - excruciating pain getting out of bed and walking around first thing in the am - really bad bending to kneel or squat and getting up from a bend or squat is near impossible. Its gotten getter since about 20 weeks (29.5w now) but now my left wrist is also killing me. No matter what direction I move it or flexing my fingers - very painful.

Please tell me this will all be over once I deliver? I feel like I am 70 years old I never had this with my son and gained 16lbs with him. Only up about 3 lbs at this point so I know it isnt weight gain

I HOPE SO. I have the same thing. I dread having to pee because getting up from the couch is so absolutely painful. DH massages my knees which makes it slightly better for a few minutes. I also have fibromyalgia and it's gotten worse and worse every day- I'm in constant pain from head to toe. I'm praying I get relief when I deliver.

I heard its common to get carpal tunnel- could that be what it is for you?

It sonds like carpel tunnel in your wrists. My old boss had it. She used to wear wrist braces. I would try those so you are not moving your wrists around so much. It did go away for her.

Sorry you are going through this but glad to see i'm not the only one. My knees have been like that for the past 2 months. It's awful! I can't even climb into bed they kill!!!

I have been waking up with horrible pains up and down my legs and siatica for the past few nights, and last night i woke up in the middle of the night with my fingers in so much pain!!!

Get some blood work done to rule out rheumatoid arthritis. I had the same thing for years on and off and never thought anything about it. When Emmy was 6 wks old it got bad and by 5 months pp I was diagnosed. There were days I would wake up and wonder how I broke my wrist in my sleep or how I broke my hip in my sleep. I didn't obviously but that is what the pain felt like. Pregnancy can put RA in remission, but not always. With my son I was in remission from 6wks to roughly 17wks and then flared from 17.5wks until 30wks or so and then went back into remission until 7wks pp with him. FM if you want more info, but it's a simple blood test.
