Pain - UPDATE
I am 11 weeks today and I woke up with this sharp pain (like someone is poking real hard from the inside) on my left lower ab. I called the doctor hoping she said normal instead told me to come in tonight...now I'm scared......anyone had this and everything was ok? What will she do? I have an appt for next week for the 12 week ..where we are hopefully hearing the heartbeat...DH can't go with me today...I don't want him to miss this special moment.

Please tell me if you ever felt this even if the turn out wasn't a good one...
UPDATE:
Thank you ladies for responding...I saw he doctor this evening she did a sonogram and our baby is ok...we saw the heartbeat  She said that she believes the pains could be gas or just things shifting inside of me.

Thank you ladies...I just went on WebMD to check what round ligament pains were....I wasn't sure what it was.

Perfectly normal, no worries...as long as it is not accompanied by red spotting you're fine...its your round ligaments stretching...can't tell you how many times I freaked out over this...a lot!
