Pads??? I haven't bought these things in like 10 years...

I stared at the Pad aisle for about 10 minutes today in Rite Aide like this Chat Icon No clue what I'm looking at nor what I'll need for after labor?! Any recommendations? I know I've seen people mention Always Infinity but even the overnights seemed so thin...do they even hold anything? Whats the difference between that and the Always Maxi pad overnight? See I'm so clueless with this...I think I used 1 box of pads in my whole life. They feel gross on and they gross me out. Help please Chat Icon

I brought home a TON of the pads from the hospital.. those things were great!

once I got home, I stopped at the store and bought always (the overnight ones that go from like your belly button to the top of your a$$) lol

Same. The hospital pads are huge but they're the best.

Ditto!! I bought the infinity after giving birth and they totally didn't cut it for me. I went with the overnights and actually lined up 2 at a time, front to back so I was completely covered. After maybe 4 or 5 days of that I was able to just use 1 overnight pad.

Re: Pads??? I haven't bought these things in like 10 years...

I found the hospital ones to be bulky and uncomfortable. I only took a few home with me and ended up switching to Always Overnight Ultra Thin with Wings. They did the trick. I was bleeding pretty heavy for the first few days but I found that I was using the bathroom so frequently that I never really filled a pad. Now, 2 weeks later I am using Always Infinity with wings and sometimes just a very thin panty liner.

Always Infinity are fantastic!!! I used them after DS and they worked great. I even used them in the hospital the next day after giving birth. They are thin, but you will have no problems.

I hated the hospital pads. I wore them right after giving birth, but that was it. So bulky and uncomfortable!
