Packing

At what point did you start to pack. We are in contract, appraisal is approved, we got our commitment letter, closing should be on or before July 20th...we live in a 2 bedroom so its not too bad but we have a lot of stuff.

Would like to hear when you started to pack.

Re: Packing

I already started. We in contract as of tonight Chat Icon . We are moving from a 3br house and we have a TON of stuff. I also have zero time so I'm trying to do just a little bit each night, like 1-2 boxes. Obviously I'm starting with stuff that we don't use all the time (crystal, etc). Our buyers are looking for a fast closing after the commitment letter comes in and I don't want to get caught with my pants down. LOL.

Congrats!!

We are in contract, appraisal approved, waiting for committment letter. I'm thinking about starting next week with the stuff we don't really use much. I dread packing, but excited to move.

I would start as early as possible. I know I hate packing, so atleast giving myself several weeks allows me to do a little every few days.

We finally found out are closing date of July 6th, so we will prob start packing this weekend.

Re: Packing

We are moving to another rental on July 2nd...I've done some minor packing but I'm giving it a real push this week. Hoping to have all the bookcases and incidentals packed this week, leaving dishes and clothes and stuff like that for next week.
