Packing ?
We sold our house but how do I start to pack when we don't have a closing date yet. The only thing I have packed was my china cabinet because I wanted to sell it at our garage sale. But its back in our house because the future owners purchased it and asked us to put it back inside (i'm really happy that they like our taste enough to purchase our things)

Re: Packing ?
Congrats!
I would start packing: books, cds, dvds decorative items photo albums/picture frames out of season clothes & bedding extra towels and sheets appliances you don't really use that much older paperwork
I would start cleaning out drawers & closets use some tough love to pare it down a bit as you go.

Re: Packing ?
I packed everything I didn't use on a daily basis.
Fine china liquor if you have serving platters, corning wear bake ware dvd's, cd's guest bedrooms I took down all the pictures on all the walls and all the pictures I had in rooms that were freestanding decorative accessories In our office I went through all our papers and packed up all our books.
I also kept going through the closets to see what else I could throw out instead of pack. Now 2 years later after we moved I should have thrown out a lot more
