Pack n Play question

I have one with the bassinet and changing station. What else do I need to buy for it? Mattress? Sheets? What do I need?

Re: Pack n Play question

I used a positioner, a mattress pad underneath the sheet, a sheet and a very light blanket...

Re: Pack n Play question

We got the mattress, It was only $19.99 , but its sooo soft, it makes me nervous....We have sheets for it, but I am using the positioner inside it at first b/c the mattress is as soft as it is. And for our shower we also got some changing station pads that fit the changing station...

All I used was a sheet and I think a smaller waterproof pad that went underneath. I never got a mattress because it could be unsafe if it doesn't fit exactly tight or if the mattress is too soft.

The mattress that comes with it is the "pad" that you would use for the bassinette part and when you are done you put put on the bottom of it.

So at a minimum I need a waterproof pad and sheets? If the mattress is soft I am a little nervous about that so maybe I will skip it if it is not a necessity.

I just bought the sheets. I will only use it for daytime sleeping though. I have a bassinett as well that was given to me by my cousin.

Re: Pack n Play question

I registered for 2 sets of sheets, maybe we will add a matress pad thing for extra softness and protection.

I got two sets of sheets, two changing pads cover sheet things and I also got a muti-use waterproof pad to put under the sheet for any accidents.

Diane how did you find the mattress? Was it soft or firm?

Re: Pack n Play question

Hmm, now I don't know what to do. I was just going to use a waterproof pad underneat and a fitted sheet on top, then swaddle the baby. But someone said recently (don't remember who, sorry!) that the bassinet mattress part in the PNP may be too hard, but I was just planning on using that for her to sleep on the first few months...I guess if it's too hard, she'll let me know by not sleeping!!

It was soft, but safe enough for Matthew to sleep belly down on it.
He hardly naps in it now, I just put him right up in his crib.
