My PNP didn't have a napper but I think that part is used at first for the baby to sleep in. Then maybe graduate to the bassinett part of it. I'm not 100% sure buit ath's how I would interpret it.
DS hate his bassinett in the PNP so he exclusivelyt slept in the Fisher Price Rock n Play Sleeper.

Our PNP had a napper and has the bassinette setting. I think the napper part can be used up to 10 or 15 lbs but DH didn't trust it and wouldn't use it so it was a waste
I wish I'd gotten a regular one without it. We do use the diaper changing station though, so it wasn't a total waste I guess.

i saw the FP rock and sleep i was a little nervouse because i have a rambuncious boston terrier and i was worried if he knocked into it or jumped up on it out of curiosity? does anyone have dogs with this product ? we are trying to adjust him to life with a baby we bought a baby alive that cries so he gets used to the sound

I have the Graco PNP Laguna Bay one - there's three ways a baby can sleep in it - the bassinet, the napper and the playard.
The way it's built, the bassinet goes over the napper portion and you can only use the bassinet up to its weight limit (the napper is just a flat surface, raised above the bottom playard portion - hope that makes sense).
DD is in the basinnet portion right now and she loves the comfy closed in feeling that her crib doesn't give her(the changing table is also assembled and I found it to be useful).

DS lived in the napper part for the first few weeks... HE was very comfortable in it and never moved around in it. He had bad reflux and the angle helped him sleep better. We used it up until the 15 pound mark. I was able to prop him on his side in it and not worry about him falling onto his face. We used the bassinet part after that...
