Re: Pacifier question
DS started putting in his mouth by himself when he was 4 months old.

Re: Pacifier question
we did this with the pacifier also. After probably 4 months my son just slept through the fact that it dropped out of his mouth. at 9 months he would't even take it anymore. Good luck. Just keep thinking that a pacifier is good for the baby acorrding to a research for SIDS. That is why I kept putting it in his mouth !!

Re: Pacifier question
DD is almost 6 months old and sometimes she can put it back in her mouth, but usually she puts it in upside down (she likes the Nuks). When she's in her crib for the night she's still swaddled though so last night I had to put it back in twice.
eta: She does stay asleep when it falls out after she's in a deeper sleep though.

Re: Pacifier question
She can totally put it in herself and has been able to since about 8-9 months, but when she is half asleep I don't even think she realizes she wants it so she just cries.
