with my daughter we introduced it when we got home from the hospital - so about 3 days old.
With my son, i gave it to him in the hospital the day after he was born
I had no issues breast feeding either one of them

Either at the hospital or the day we got home. DS never had nipple confusion.

We tried giving it to DS in the hospital but he was never really big on it.

My daughter was in the NICU so they gave it to her there. I breastfed and/or pumped for her for a year.

Anytime they seem fussy but may have just eaten and aren't hungry. We used it in the first month or so but DS didn't really take to it.

Pacifier for breastfed babies?
DS was in the NICU so they gave him a pacifier right away. I've had no issues with him latching on and taking the pacifier(no nipple confusion).
