Ow ow ow! My neck is killing me!
I don't know what it would be referred to. Stiff neck, pulled muscle or sprain? I was just getting ready to dry my hair after getting out of the shower yesterday afternoon when I ended up in pain. When I tried to move my neck to my left it hurt ALOT! And it still has not gone away almost 24 hours later. It's extremely difficult to take care of Michael when I'm in all this pain. I've had it happen before but the last time was a few years ago and I've always assumed it was a pulled muscle. Anyone know what it is and more so does anyone know of anything I can do to fix it QUICK?

It could be all of the above. If it feels really stiff then I'd try some heat? Sometimes if it's inflammation then you need ice though. See a chiropractor, I think that's the est bet

I had this once before. Don't know what it is but I couldn't move my neck for days. The first day was the worst!!! I got better but unfortunately it lasted all week. By the end of the week the pain diminished...trying a heating pad or advils...

When I get cervical pain I use themacare heatwraps. LOVE them

Did you happen to sleep with an air conditioner right near you or a fan over you?? This used to happen to me alot in the summer when I had a fan directly on me, my neck would lock up. Def. put some heat on it and take some Advil or Alieve.

Feel Better!! Maybe you pinched a nerve. I do that sometime when moving my neck and it lasts for days and hurts like hell!!

I had a similar pain a few months ago. I could not move my head at all in any direction. I alternated hot towels for 20 min. then ice for 20 min. for an hour. Then I put a Ben-Gay pad on the area and took Advil. It finally went away after a few days. I hope you feel better soon.
