ovulation
3 days after AF ended I started with opk. On the 4th day I got 2 dark lines and so far for 4 days ive been getting 2 dark lines. Is that possible so close after my period ended to get dark lines that many days in a row. I have a regular cycle each month of 27-28 days. Just curious.

Re: ovulation
3 days after AF ended (how long is AF) and then the 4th day...so you've got to be at least 12-15 days into your cycle? It would be helpful if you told us what CD you're on.
But regardless, I think you're fine. You have a short cycle, so you likely O early. I did, too.

Re: ovulation
GET RID OF THE LINE TESTS!!!
Go buy the Clear Blue Easy tests. Make sure you test on your 2nd urine between 11am-2pm daily.
Depending on how long your AF was (count first day of your AF as D1) you can certainly ovulate early in your cycle or even late. Just because your on a 28-30 cycle doesnt mean that you are textbook and OD14-16
Good Luck

Re: ovulation
if you are cd8 of a 28 day cycle there is virtually no way you are ovulating yet. there is almost no way you have a consistent 20 day LP.
first (sorry i have to say this) make sure you are reading the OPKs correctly. next, go see a doctor for bloodwork. you shouldnt have a 4-day long LH spike that early unless its a random fluke short cycle (which is possible). the only way to be sure is with bloodwork/sono.
good luck!

Re: ovulation
IDK, my GF strangely ovulates the week after her period ends...she got pregnant with all 4 of her children (unplanned) that way. Anything is possible...not likely but possible.
I agree though, go to the dr. for blood/sono they would def. know better then a OPK

Re: ovulation
The best way to know for sure, other than the OPK's is monitoring and bloodwork. It helps to take the guesswork out of all of this. In addition, getting tested and seeing an RE will help rule out other factors like MFI and Endo/Pcos.
Good Luck!

Re: ovulation
We visited an RE last month (but are trying the natural way at the moment.) I had a whole series of bloodwork done by the RE as well as an internal pelvic sono and an hsg. She called and said bloodwork and sono were normal.

My blood and sono are normal, however, OPKs don't work for me. I got a false positive on CD16, but didn't surge until CD19. You can always have the RE monitor you and once bloodwork and sono confirm ovulation.
