ovidrel/IUI

Hi, I just wanted to know if anyone took ovidrel with a IUI. I got a voicemail to take Ovidrel between 5-8pm. Shouldn't they tell you an exact time to take it?

I called the answering service a couple of hours ago and a murse has not called me back yet.

No, they're giving you a 3 hour window- I would make a note of when you took it and let them know. They're going to inject the sperm in to where they know your egg will be heading and hope that they meet.
I don't think it's a VERY precise time like IVF is, based off of when they're planning on retrieving your eggs. HTH! GL!

Hi, i just had the ovidrel shot as well. I had it done in the re office at 8am and had my iui done the next day at 11. The iui was done 27 hrs after the ovidrel shot. You usually ovulate 36 hrs after the shot. If you take it tonight you will probally go in for your IUI tuesday morning,

Thanks for the replies.. I have to go into tomorrow morning at 10am for IUI. Does anyone know if i have to go in at 9am with husband or he drops off at 10? Sorry, the nurse still hasn't called back im jsut confused. I couldnt really understand the voicemail. There was so much static. Thanks so much

when i scheduled my iui it was for 10am. I specifically asked that question too! They said drop off is at 10. it takes about an hr for them to wash the sperm. I go to RSofNY.
