Overnight underwear
So one of my twins has taken a really long time to stop wetting the bed at night. He had been wearing goodnites. We noticed 2 months ago he had been waking up dry for a solid month. Woo Hoo! So we took him out of the goodnites and he has been wearing underwear to bed.
We have him pee before bed, the whole routine. All has been well, except last night he had an accident. He woke us up at 1am totally soaked. it sucked!
DH wants to put him back in the Goodnites, but my son doesn't want them (says they are for babies-he's almost 6).
Do they have underwear that are like Goodnites-I guess like a pull-up but in underwear form? Need something absorbent but make him think he is a big boy.

Re: Overnight underwear
Hannah Anderson makes training underware. They say they have extra padding to help with oops moments. I've never tried them but i hear people like them. They are also having 30% off everything this weekend.

Overnight underwear
I would just put him back in regular underwear. Accidents happen. My ds has been night trained for 3 years and will still have an accident here and there. Don't ever go backwards. If anything get one of those pads for the bed.

Re: Overnight underwear
So last night put him in a goodnite pull-up. He woke up with it completely full. He told me sorry, he doesn't remember peeing. I said that's ok (don't want him to feel bad about it) and he asked me if he could go out on his underwear (at 5am) and I said yeah go ahead.
I think he is so exhausted from camp (good thing) that once he's out, he's down for the count. My kids usually go to bed between 8-8:30, but they have been begging me lately to go to bed at 7:30. Of course they are up raring to go at 5:30am, but that's another story .

Thank you! Bought a bunch of training underwear this morning (mostly for my LO). If DH knew how much these 'underwear' cost, he'd kill me. But I couldn't find any underwear like this but in the bigger sizes except for here.

Re: Overnight underwear
It's really hard when they are so tired after a long summer day. Can you walk him to the bathroom at 10 or 11pm and have him go so he is not trying to hold it all night.

Just 1 accident? No big deal, that'll happen. Don't go backwards. Keep him in underwear at night.

Re: Overnight underwear
Is keep him in regular underwear. Even the padded undies can feel like a diaper and deceive a lo into thinking they have the security of a diaper. I'd invest in waterproof pads instead.
