overnight bag for c-section
Ok, so silly question...
I'm scheduled for tomorrow for a section at Winthrop... What do with my bag of clothes and stuff when I get there, what do they do with it while I am in the OR????

Yes. I was at Winthrop and he hung on to it then when I was in the recovery I got it with me. Then they take it with me when I was transfered to my room.

Re: overnight bag for c-section
Usually the nurses store it away. If you don't really need the stuff until after (and are worried about the contents), have DH leave it in the car and get it when you are out of surgery
GOOD LUCK!

I had a small duffel with me. I am not sure where it was when I was in the OR but later on it was right under my bed. It went wherever they moved me. Then there was a huge suitcase in the car. I travel "heavy." I bring anything I might EVER need.

Re: overnight bag for c-section
Wow, this post just made me realize that we don't get a delivery room! That is so crazy . When I had DS, I labored for 12 hours before eventually ending up with a section so I had a room. It never even occurred to me that I wouldn't have a delivery room! So what happens? We go to the hospital and just go to the operating room? Where do we change?

Re: overnight bag for c-section
I was shown to my room where I was able to leave all of my personal belongings in a closet that locked.
