Overly Happy Co-Wrokers.....
Ok, so my boss is a good guy, now that he stopped telling people I was born in a 3rd world country. He is wayyyyyyyy to happy. His wife is the same way, so happy it makes me sick. There are days I'm in a bitchy mood, can't help it(happy a happy period label doesn't help) He brought to my attention the other day that I seemed upset and asked if I was having problems at home Said no, just stressed. Well the last check he gave me he wrote a note saying "Thanks for trying to have a more positive attitude" FYI, If I was any happier I'd need a DOWNER! I was pretty annoyed he wrote that!

oh, D you missed that!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everytime he introduced me he'd tell people where I was born.

It's ok! I didn't care. Karma's a beeyotch! After I left his OM left and he was left w/ only a part timer. Ha...so take the BURRITO(roll the r's now) and SHOVE IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know about the asking about home-life part...but DH and I own a company together and we have about 8 people in our NY office.
If one person is in a bad mood it is amazing how it can ripple throughout the company. We try really hard to always be positive, so if a co-worker was making an effort to be positive I would definitely reward that somehow.
