Re: Ovadril?
If you have to get it, have them order it from Freedom Fertility Pharmacy - it has to be shipped to you overnight, which Freedom does for free via Fedex. The Ovidrel is $45 if you get it from Freedom. If you get it at CVS, etc. it's closer to $100.
If you are starting Clomid today you will probably end up back at the RE for monitoring in 5 or so days. At your next appt, be very specific with the RE about using it. If you ovulate on your own, you may not need it, but the RE will be monitoring your blood levels to see how you are progressing towards ovulation, etc. prior to IUI.
Using the Ovidrel also:
1.makes it less stressful. you aren't having to use an OPK and see when you are ovulating, to me that was more stressful than anything else. 2. you can time the IUI, within reason and have more "notice" so to speak, on when it will be done.
Good luck!
