Outfit for Bris
if you had a Bris, can you please share pics or links of the outfit DS wore? I'm in need of inspiration. Thanks!

Re: Outfit for Bris
I put a pic in my album.
Some mohels want very specific outfits so it's easier for the actual circumcision part. We had to have DS in a full body onesie (they roll it up to hold the baby's arms still). And then we bought an outfit (that basically looked like a sleeping gown) at Denny's that had little Jewish stars. It came with a yarmulke and a little blanket. It was very cute, but very expensive.
I recommend something without a lot of snaps because it just prolongs the mohel's "job." And again, some mohel's won't let you dress the baby that way anyway.

Outfit for Bris
I agonized over it and ended up putting DS in just a onsie. Worked fine and he was cute. The actual event was over pretty fast and DS wasn't around the whole party for too long. If you don't have a mohel already I highly recommend Cantor Sherman. Great ceremony, actual circumcision was over fast and healed quickly.

Thanks for the tips and for sharing the pic!

Thanks and yes we are using Shernan. He's basically done the Bris for almost every boy in my extended family.

We used Cantor Sherman, too. That's him holding DS in the pic. Lol. But anyway, he will give you very specific ideas about what to dress the baby in.
