Step 2 or Little Tikes are more geared towards younger children but it does not last very long. Especially the one for 1-3 years old and if your DC is on the bigger side.
I got a metal one from TRU last year. It was MUCH MUCH cheaper. I bought the infant bucket seat for $20. I just removed the regular swing seat and put a bucket seat.
