Outdoor (Summer) 1st Birthday...ideas for fun things to do
May be a bit early but I'm starting to get some ideas together for DD's 1st birthday. It will be at my home outside (She's a July baby). I'm trying to think of some fun things to rent and activities to do then. I'm avoiding a moon bounce, even though DH really wants one lol.

Honestly, if my DD's birthday was in the summer and I had her party in my yard I would absolutely get a bounce house. That will keep the kids occupied the entire party.

There are only a few kids and they're very young so I don't think it's a good idea for her bday...I think it would be full of adults instead lol

Hi! Twinkle Town Entertainment has been doing birthday parties for 19 years now! Majority of them are 1st birthdays, which is great because it means you will have kids varying in age! Our packages are designed to get kids of all ages up and participating. Please give us a call so we can work out a package that most interests you! Our website lists some of our packages and has great pictures of our clowns!! Please take a look-http://www.twinkletown.net/
Or give us a call at 516-249-5100 we would love to further assist you!

I think they have weight limits anyway.
So you need ideas for adults?

No ideas for adults, I just don't think the moonbounce is age appropriate for her 1st birthday being she'll just be getting used to walking the bouncey thing will just make her fall everywhere. I'm looking for some ideas geared toward her age.

my DD is a July baby, and we used Adrenaline Entertainment.. we had a princess come and do tattoos, bubbles.
a bounce house is a greg idea for kids her age... OMG kids and adults will LOVE LOVE LOVE it.
every child i know had a great time on them from the time they started to crawl.
a midget pool is a great idea too.. we have one its like 4' deep.. kids and adults loved that as well... considering July is HOT HOT HOT.

Re: Outdoor (Summer) 1st Birthday...ideas for fun things to do
We had my DS 1st B-Day in the backyard. Honestly, we did not rent anything or hire entertainment, we went to target and got a bunch of outdoor lawn games, sidewalk chalk, had a coloring table with Moose and Zee print outs (His theme) and the kids had a ball!!!!
They are kids, they can entertain eachother and don't need anything fancy IMO.
We had kids from 8 months old to 12 years old and they all had a blast!
