Out East this weekend
Hi ladies,
I'd like to take my 2 kiddos, 4 1/2 and 1 1/2, and my mom who is up visiting from Florida out east this weekend to do some fall related things. Not sure where or what though. Any suggestions for a nice town to visit? Pumpkin picking? Family friendly restaurants? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Out East this weekend
We've been going to Harbes the last couple years. I like it, but I have nothing to compare it to. Wherever you go, I advise going early though because the traffic gets crazy with everyone doing fall activities.

Harbes on the north fork or hanks in watermill...both good options..both will be packed.

Finks has a ton of activities for the kids. They have a pumpkin picking area too. You can spend a few hours there. They charge to get in, but I think it's worth it once a year. JR's Steakhouse is nearby too. There's not too much traffic getting to finks. It's on middle country road and it's one of the first farms.
If you go to harbes they have 3 different farms. One has a lot of kid activities and a small winery. One has pumpkins and apple picking. The other one isn't worth it anymore. I think it just has a corn maze. And pumpkins maybe. But those are on sound ave. You need to plan on getting there by 930 to avoid the traffic.

7 ponds on the south fork is nice. Not fall related but the children's museum of the east end is nearby and the kids would have a blast there.

Out East this weekend
We're out there pretty often. Our favorite places to take DS to eat are Main Road Biscuit Co, Love Lane Kitchen, and Modern Snack Bar. Magic Fountain is awesome for ice cream.
