National Grid "stopped by" this morning (unannounced of course! Luckily I was home). The permit was approved to dig the road to connect to the gas line.
They only have 2.2 feet to dig and since I have a corner lot they will access from the side backyard without going into my street. I am sure they loved that!!!!
So we should be starting the conversion next month.

Lucky you! I looked into it and we're so far from a gas line it would cost us over $36,000 to bring in gas and I really just wanted it for cooking!
