This is our last night in our first house together as a married couple also. I am up packing now (I am taking a mini-break right now). I am sad but at the same time am looking forward to new memories in our new house. Even though we had packed up a lot of stuff it did not hit me that we were really moving until Friday.

We just put in an offer on a house and I keep telling DH that I am going to be SO sad to leave our apartment. I love it here and we have an awesome apartment....but I am looking forward to the next step in our lives too! Congrats to you!

Congrats! 
I can't imagine being sad to leave this apartment. We always treated it as a temporary situation (for six years!) and the two things that mean the most to us are coming with us. Each other, that is. 
Then again, leaving the neighborhood and the friends we made here will be hard.

It's our last night here, too! I'm so sad. And, since our stuff will be going into storage for a few weeks until we close, i'm not even remotely excited about the new place.

aww! i know how you feel! we're getting ready to sell our first " starter" house and we're buying DHs parents house from them ( it has more room for kids in a few years)... and i'm already getting sad to leave!!! we bought this house as a fixer upper and did soooo much to make it ours and we really like the neighborhood and everything..... i know we're doing the right thign moving and we'll be really happy there... but its still sad :-/
