Our dishwasher and garbage can smell
The garbage never smelled before because we had a small one that we emptied every night. Any remedies?

you have to empty a kitchen garbage everyday or at least every other day, IMO.
in the summer, we empty ours everyday no matter how much or how little is in there. I've come home too many times from work during the summer to a stinky house  I've learned my lesson!

Yeah, I agree, emptying it every night. Or keeping the can in the garage or outside. Garbage reeks when it just sits there.

I totally empty it either every day or every other day. And nothing leaked either. 
What about the dishwasher?

our garbage can gets emptied every day, and i wash it out with pinesol once a week.

you might need to clean out your dishwasher - something might have gotten stuck. you can also try running it empty with just a few cups of white vinegar in a glass on the top shelf.

We empty ours every day regardless of how full/empty it might be. Every two or three days, I clean the inside with Clorox kitchen wipes and once a week, I clean it with a scented cleaner.
