Other than the iPad, which tablet for almost 4 year old?
If the iPad was not an option, which tablet would you reccomend for an almost 4 year old?

IMO, I choose to go the cheaper version of a tablet.
I got a good deal recently on Yugster.com and paid $60.
Its an 7' android tablet. Allows apps and go on internet.
My DD is 5 and I refuse to pay a lot of $$$ for something she cant realistically play with or care for.
I suggest looking out on Black Friday for deals or cyber monday.

kindle fire...i just got one and we have prime so its great for watching tv shows and you can have apps on it etc...

I can't remember where but, i saw a kids tough tablet yesterday that accepts all the apps of the regular tablet however, you can limit your DC to certain apps and websites. Let me see if I can remember.
