Oscar in trouble again!!
2 years ago, when we were on our honeymoon, Oscar chewed on the cap of a stuffed doll that my dad had custom made for me when I graduated elementary school. I have always loved that doll and my parents have always displayed it. I thought they moved it to a higher shelf after that.
Fast forward to 2 weeks ago. Oscar spent a few days at my parents' house while DH and I went to Montauk. Now tonight mom found not just the cap but the entire doll under her bed. The doll is usually in a room not near my parents' bedroom. The doll is not heavy but it is about the same physical size as Oscar.
It's one thing when he misbehaves at my house but at grandma's? Last week I found Oscar under our bed trying to chew open a tube of toothpaste.
I try to teach him, I really do! And all of this is a lot less frequent than it used to be!! He is a thief. But, like a lot of misunderstood kids, he has a diagnosis. He is a "resource guarder." Seriously, it is a real doggie diagnosis, maybe an epidemic.

Awwwwwww, looks like Oscar is jealous of the doll!!!! 
Maybe he senses that there's going to be a big change in the household very soon and this is his way of acting out.

aaawww, looks like he'll be in the dog house (no pun intended).
I agree with Cindy - maybe he senses some changes and wants some attention.

Kerie you know your dog better than we do!! 
If this is really less frequent than usual then I wouldn't worry about it.

Anything soft and stuffy is a great toy to him!!!! Problem is I have a baby on the way. He will be sweet to the baby but not the toys!! He is so silly and he does know how to get into trouble.
