Re: O's , St. James

Is that Oscar's? Across from Hitherbrook nursery on 25A?

If so, we went there for New Year's. I am not an adventurous eater but do enjoy a good meal. I was disappointed and DH wound up eating a lot of my food for me. I considered it a waste of money. Their champagne was good. Chat Icon

I prefer Mosaic, also in St. James on 25A, for a great meal, moderately priced.

I was curious so I looked it up, it is the old Oscar's. If they're under new ownership with new menus and chefs, maybe things have changed. Maybe they paved the parking lot by now too. Chat Icon

It is the old Oscar's. Didn't love Oscar's but I've heard good things about this place.

We wound up trying Vintage...It was really good..Thanks for your review of O's. DW wound up calling O's, and it is the same chef and same owners when it was called oscars.

They used to be Oscar's. I like the new food, and staff, menu etc.. better.

Thanks! We'll have to try that one too. Our pizza place is right next door.

Same place, owners. They made it into more of a Wine Bar with Tapas instead of full-on entrees. It was cool the one night we went there for something fun to do with couples. It is hard to make an entire meal out of just tapas, IMO. I've heard great things about Vintage - glad you liked it.
