Ornament question
Whom would you think an ornament called "grandchild's first christmas" would be for?
the grandparents
or
the parents of the child that is the grandchild in question
discuss.

Re: Ornament question
my mil gave me an ornament for grnaddaughters first christmas. I thought she wanted to just show me it, but she left it here a few weeks ago.
i saw here today and told her she said it was for us. so i said in the nicest possibel way, but she's not my grandchild, she is your grandchild. her reasoning was, it was her grandchild and she was giving it to me from her.
she meant to take it home but forgot it, and at this point it's moot so i'll put it away.
just one of those things that made me go

Re: Ornament question
For DC, it would be "Baby's first Christmas" For you, it would be something like "Our First Christmas", or "<DC Name>'s First Christmas" or "Child's first Christmas"
Anything with Grandchild in it is for the Grandparent. Anything with Niece or Nephew would be for an Aunt or Uncle's tree....
