Organic Brands
I hear it is best to get organic meats and dairy. Currently, I only buy organic canned goods and some boxed items. I look at Stop and Shop and I don't see organic meats and dairy. Can anyone help me? Is Nature's Promise and Bell and Evans organic? It says "natural". Is that just one step closer to organic but not entirely? Please list the organic brands you use thanks!

Re: Organic Brands
I was never able to find affordable organic meats at Stop&Shop so we always went to Wild by Nature.
Now that we moved, we use Whole Foods when we can - but it's SO expensive, so right now we aren't really buying much organic in terms of meat/poultry.

Re: Organic Brands
I usually get my organic food from Trader Joes and Whole Foods so I get the brands they have. I try to make sure it says organic because I think it is held to a higher authority because it says that. At least I hope it is because it costs more

Nature's Promise and Bell and Evans are not organic. I believe they are slightly better than conventional meat, but since the USDA doesn't regulate "natural" you have to read the package to see what they claim to be better.
I only get chicken and ground beef organic and from Costco. Costco has the best prices around for organics. Chicken breast is $5.99 and chicken thighs are $3.99. Organic Beef is 3lbs for $13.33.
I shop and Waldbaums and sometimes Stop and shop and I don;t believe they sell organic meat at all, only "natural"

Same. I rarely buy organic at Stop an Shop unless it's baby food (they have the yogurt and organic Puffs my DD loves).
