Re: Ordering designer jeans from the internet
I am convinced that the designer jeans they sell in the store are better quality than the ones online...I swear...

Re: Ordering designer jeans from the internet
I know...it's so strange. Some of the Sevens I can't get over my hips and then others I am swimming in. There are no consistencies in the sizing, at least in my experience. I can't order jeans online...I have to go into the store and try them on a million times.

I wont order them online
but if a 29 didn't fit you- it's mis marked - b/c you are tiny
I have been pretty consistant with sizes- most 27 have fit me- except for a pair of J brand- but they were cut funny
I just got a pair of Joe's in a 26 - which I was happy about

Re: Ordering designer jeans from the internet
I would order a bunch of different sizes from places like Eluxury, Saks, Bergdorfs & Neimans and just try them all on. It's rare that the actual stores carry the specific brand, cut & wash I want. I just return what doesn't fit.
I know R&Rs are notorious for being inconsistent in sizing. Certain washes and cuts tend to either run small or large. I used to spend a lot of time on a denim msg brd (AuthenticForum.com) where the posters were able to give me sizing info based on the brand, wash and cut.

I am on that forum as well and it has good info. Each brand varies and washes within the brand also vary! It is very frustrating.
I have ordered jeans off the internet and if you measure correctly, all should be ok. You just need to measure your favourite pair of jeans.

that is funny because sevens usually have great strech and i consistently wear a 28in them. other brands i often have to go up to a 29.

i agree. my $12 jeans i got from f21 seems to be my "go-to" pair lately. they fit amazingly.

Re: Ordering designer jeans from the internet
I have to agree i love my seven jeans and I got another pair for christmas, i always take a 25, and the cut on the pair i got for christmas is differnt and its a little tight. its so annyoing!! the same designer yet I can't even wear the same size!
So I would say unless you already have, or tried on the cut you are considering online, don't buy them online.
