Orange Kitten

My neighbor decided that they no longer wanted a orange kitten about 4 to 5 months old, so they decided to just let him free. So i have been feeding him but I live with my family and already have 4 cats my father said we can not take this cat in at all. I am so upset the cat cries all the time and just wants to be held and to have a home. I am afraid to bring him to a shelter. Does anyone want a kitten. It is a male.

Bring him to a vet or a shelter..any place where they would take him.

The cold is going to come soon enough.

i'm sorry but your neighbor is a total a s s hole. i cant take a cat cause we have a 1 bedroom and 2 dogs but if we didnt, i'd take him. i hope you can find him a good home.

eta: if you bring him to a shelter i'm sure someone will take he pretty quickly since he's young. it's getting colder out there, i feel so bad for him.

Please take him to a shelter asap. He has a good chance of being adopted and as the PP said, the weather is going to get bad. Life for a stray is so difficult and dangerous.

And report your neighbor. It's illegal to just abandon an animal like that. Azzholes.

Thank you so much to everyone who responded. I have lost all respect for my neighbor and can barley look at her in her face. However with that being said I will check out the shelter which was recommened but I would rather find him to an adoptive home. The cat needs a forever home so please let me know if anyone is willing to take him and not throw him out like his family did.
