ETA: A woman posed as a pregnant woman and tired to steal another pregnant woman's baby. She faked her pragnancy and wore a prostetic bump.

She had all this baby stuff in her apartment and all this surgical stuff too. She pretended that she received a package off the babies r us registry for this woman she targeted. She said they had similar names, turns out they did not. The woman who was attacked survived and killed the woman who was pretending to be preggo out of self defense.

Criminologist have recently stated that visibilly pregnant women are at risk for crimes for reasons described above.
For whatever reason, there are sick men and women out there, mostly women in this case who are jealous and want to steal other women's babies while the women is in her last trimester.
DH either saw this show or a similar one and is very protective of me now that I'm showing.

This is why I posted it. She searched the babies r us website and found her victims that way. She tried this with someone else one before. Babies r us changed their website because of what happened to this woman.

The victim wrote a book called "saving Grace" which will be out in January. Her daughter is now 20 months old and is named Michaela Grace. The book tells her story and she worte it to help pther pregnant woman be aware of these sickos who run these scams.

I agree. I got so much cr@p because I did not want one for this reason. I was told that I was overreacting and being ridiculous. I am so glad we did not get one.

MY husband watched this at work today....And came home and said if anyone ever calls me about my registry Im to say "so what" "Keep it" and not go meet anyone ever without him.... He was sooooo concerned with telling me all these risks......
Keep in mind I also cannot Shower after last nights Greys anatomy....
And I must wash my hands 400 times a day b/c of the "Germ Nazi" following me around...
I wish they wouldnt SHOW these TV SHOWS!!!
Its funny his concern, but the fact this OCCURS is disturbing and sick....Thanks God the mom and baby that were on were ok.
I think some people are truly insane.....truly!
