OPK question****UPDATED
So I took an OPK at
8pm last night---Neg 6am today--------Positive 415pm today----Positive
If I take one tomorrow am and its negative does that mean I ovulated at some point between now and then? Or could it still be 36 hours from positive OPK number 2?
We BD last night and this am. Im wondering if we should again tonight or tomorrow am?
TIA
Jen
****ETA
so here are all my OPKs
Monday 8pm-Negative Tuesday 6am-Positive Tuesday 415pm-Positive Wednesday-4am- Positive Wednesday 530pm-Positive Thurs 530am-Negative
So is it sfae to say I O'ed some time last night?!?!!

Re: OPK question
I may not be of any help, but this is what happened to me this cycle:
Fri - am - neg Fri - late afternoon - pos Sat - pos Sun - pos Mon - neg
So I'm guessing I O'd sometime between Sunday afternoon and Monday morning
In addition, I used the Clear Blue Easy Fertility Monitor and got my first Peak reading on Sat and another on Sun. It went back to High on Monday and then low on Tuesday
HTH!
ETS: We BD'd until I got a negative

Re: OPK question
No sono's I'm not yet seeing a RE. If I don't get pregnant in the next cycle then she will be referring me to the affiliated RE office.

Re: OPK question
I honestly thought that when you get a positive you will ovulate within the next 24-36 hours. So, you may have gotten a positive this morning but may not ovulate until tomorrow evening. KWIM?

Re: OPK question****UPDATED
The instructions on my OPKs say to test once per day between 10am and 8 pm. You should take test at about the same time each day and you shouldn't use FMU because the hormone doesn't build up until later in the day. After you get your first positive under those conditions, you are supposed to O anywhere from 12 to 48 hours later. I'm just wondering if taking the test at all those different times of the day is adding to the confusion? good luck.

Well the reason I was taking them twice a day is because I went for a sono on Monday and my Dr said I should be ovulating VERY SOON based on the sono. I wanted to make sure I didnt miss it so she said to test twice a day since she knew it would be within the the next few days.
