OPK HELP PLEASE
I went to the dr today and got the ovedrel shot....right before i went I had ALMOST a positive OPK...I just took a OPK test and its totally negative.....i thought the hcg makes the test positive, now im afraid it didnt work....

when i used the trigger shot i also got a totally negative OPK.
the HCG is the trigger that makes the eggs come out of the follicles - it does not make your body produce LH which is what OPKs test for.
i was confused about that too but i think your LH doesnt matter at all when you trigger so dont bother with OPKs.
you can test with an HPT to see that the HCG is in your system. that made me feel better for some reason!!

i felt so weird about the -OPK too.
i have high LH and always get +'s even when I'm not Oing so it was totally weird for me to see the OPK so blatantly negative!!
