Opinions on my rudeness !!
So I was supposed to go to a home interiors party last night, said I'd go Friday of last week, but never showed up last night. It was for someone I used to work with (we weren't really "friends" but we got a long well at work) and other coworkers of mine went.
She sent me an email this morning saying she was sorry I wasn't there and that I was probably tired, etc (I'm 7 mos preggo)...
So I sent her an email back saying I was tired and I am sorry I didn't even call her to let her know I wasn't coming and I was sorry I didn't make it.
Is that really bad? I definitely wimped out last night on calling her b/c I didn't want to face telling her I wasn't coming.
I'm so bad at stuff like that and then I feel stupid b/c I'm so wimpy. She just emailed me back saying its okay and she understands.
Does anyone else do the same sometimes? I'd like to change this about myself!!!

I probably would have gave her a quick call last night or even a quick email (if you know she checks it often) and told her you could not make it.

One of my friends did the EXACT same thing with a candle party! The host was furious and sent her a super nasty email saying she deserved at least the courtesy of a phone call if she was going to cancel at the last minute.
But I understand...It would have been better to call, but what can you do.

If I were the host, I too would have emailed you - not to say "Uh, what happened to you?" but to see if you were okay because you're 7 months pregnant. I'm sure that she didn't take it badly. You get extra slack cut for you. 
Just give a call next time - hold yourself to it.

I am like you also. It doesn't sound like she is mad and I'm sure she understands because you are pregnant. It is always better to call, email is just so much easier
