Opinion question...
So, my mom crocheted the baby's first blanket.
Since it's only been in my mom's hands, and I really ask because of the delicate stature of the blanket.... Do you ladies think I should throw it in the wash?

My mom has already crocheted 5 blankets for me. Every single one of them goes in the wash!!!! Even though it's only been in your mom's clean and delicate hands, the wool used has been all over the place.
Wash it on delicate/permanent press with dreft (or some other appropriate baby detergent).
ETA: My mom has crocheted 100s of blankets (not even exaggerating a little) and every single one of them goes in the washer AND dryer before she gives it to the person. Double check with your mom if you're nervous but I'm sure it's okay.
