Only 5 weeks along and already going crazy
trying to decide whether or not to find out if DC3 is a boy or a girl.
My first 2 are the same sex- but I've never had that "It's a...!" moment.
I would love to have that exciting moment (even though it isn't guaranteed), but on the other hand, if I'm having the opposite of my first 2- I'll be able to make a totally different nursery and I already have ideas and want to start buying!!
I know everyone is different- I just needed a little break from work to vent.

I am preggers with my first and we are not finding out.. My hubby really want that moment and says there are few surprises in the world and this should be one of them! Also we love everyone guessing.. although I really want to know.. I feel like if you found out both times before than you should try and hold out on this one and be surprised! I hear there is nothing like hearing those words when they baby comes out!! Good luck either way :)

I didn't find out the first time...not finding out this time either.
Honestly, if it's your last or you think it might be, save the surprise! LOL...its really so awesome to wait!

Just found out for my third. We made it different by having a little party eith a gender reveal cake. I completely feel like we had our it's a moment that way. It's a surprise whenever you find out. There is already so much excitement and so many surprises at the birth that I personally look for more surprises and excitement during the pregnacy. No regrets with my choice and I love knowing now. I go a little crazy when I don't know

DH and I have no desire to wait to find out. We are still going to be surprised...just a little sooner. It's really a matter of preference, no way is better.

I am a little neurotic so I need to know the sex so I can properly plan. DH isn't good with surprises so he wants to know ASAP.
I can't imagine having enough impulse control to wait!!! Although I commend people who do!

we found out and I'm so glad we did!! I have enough surprises in my life this is what I needed to get me through the pregnancy. Now I have a name and can plan for my baby Nicholas!
We were hit pretty bad by Sandy, so we are awaiting construction and don't even know if the house will be done by the time the baby comes.....

We found out with our first and didn't with our second. I have to say not finding out was so much better! We are team  with #3. I am picking out my nursery details (bedding, wall decor) and will purchase them right after the baby is born. He or she won't be in the nursery for at least a couple of months so we have time. I'm not stressing!

Congrats!
I can't help but feel like I'm reading my own post  I have 2  and found out the sex of both. Now with #3 I want that "It's a..." moment. I do not want to find out but I'm having such a hard time with this. I can find out next Friday but I don't want to. I'm praying I have the strength next Friday so say NO when they ask if I want to find out.
I've heard that it's an amazing experience to not know what the gender is until you deliver. I WANT THAT!!! This is our last baby so it's now or never.

Thanks ladies!
We were Team with my first but I wound up having a C-section with demerol (the epi didn't work well enough). So I don't really remember any of it.
I'm 95% sure this is our last- so I'm leaning towards not finding out...
I still have a loooong time to figure it out!
